Photo of the Week, Year 3, Week 46

Rust pushes away the layers of paint like a snake shedding it’s skin.  The slow and inexorable sloughing of the exterior layer to begin fresh with what lies beneath.  Nature plays it’s role, using water to show the metal how to change.  An ever-changing element teaching a hard and stubborn element that to change your form does not necessarily mean an end to who you are.  It is merely a reinvention.
