Well, I am getting settled in here in my new digs…for my blog and my new website! I just wanted to do a quick post to check and make sure things are working as they should.
For those of you that didn’t know, I’ve been busy behind the scenes, working on building my website. I finally worked up the courage this week to make the big move from Blogger to my self-hosted WordPress site here. (Yay! Nothing got lost!) I hope I’ve worked out most of the major kinks, though I’m sure there are a few site-specific links in older posts that I’ll have to update.
For now, bear with me as the construction dust slowly settles. Of course, if you find something (major) that doesn’t work as you think it should, let me know and I’ll add it to my “fix-it” list. Those of you that have been around my blog for a while will notice that several things are missing from the side bar. It was impossible to transfer all the fun little things I had added to my Blogger blog, so I’m looking at this move as a chance to play with a new look. Kind of like getting a new haircut, it’s fun/scary/exciting all at once!
Tomorrow I hope to get the next Photo of the Week posted here. Until then, please make yourself at home and look around my new website. I have many plans for my website in the coming days, so now would be a great time to sign up for my email list to get all the latest updates in one convenient email.
