Photo of the Week, Year 3, Week 40

So here we are.  The final group POTW!  It’s been fascinating seeing what this regular practice has brought me and several of you that have been participants.  Playing host to this feature helped me stay on track with my regular practice more often than you may have realized – especially in the early days of Photo of the Week.  I know that it has played an important role in getting me to where I am now with my photography business.  I find myself able to slip into the image-making frame of mind at-will, which is necessary to get new work done on a regular basis.  I no longer wait for creativity to strike, because I have discovered there is a constant well of creativity within me.  All I need to do now is dip down into it and go to work.  So I will continue my practice and post the results here on my blog, as a sort of public record of my journey.

Thank you to everyone that participated this week and thank you to all the participants over the last 3 years.  It’s been fun hosting POTW and I hope you will continue to practice your creativity on your own.

I’m excited to see where my POTW will continue to lead my photography and I’ll be sharing each step of the way with you here on my blog.

See you next time!
