Photo of the Week, Year 3, Week 39

I was lucky enough to share a day off with my husband this past week.  We were even more fortunate to have absolutely gorgeous weather for a day in San Francisco.  On our way home, we pulled off the freeway just after crossing the Golden Gate Bridge (my favorite bridge in the world!) and headed up into the Marin Headlands.  The sights of the city and bridge are the best up there, especially if you’re lucky enough to get a sunny afternoon like we had!  We decided to take the long way around back to the freeway, stopping several times to peek at some of the old bunkers and take in some more views of the coast.  I’m always attracted to the rusty doors of the old bunkers…a subject I must explore more in the near future I think…

Thank you to everyone that participated!

Next week will be the last week you can join in POTW.  After that I will continue with Photo of the Week on my own. If you’re checking out my blog for the first time, you may not know what the deal is with POTW.  You can read all about my personal challenge here.

See you next time!
