Photo of the Week, Year 3, Week 38

I finally carved out a bit of time working with my “big guns” camera this week rather than my phone camera.  It felt really good to work with my macro lens again.  I suppose the phone camera served it’s purpose these past few weeks by simply helping me to keep taking photos each week when my schedule felt way too crazy busy.  And the apps I have on my phone give me a tiny bit of creative license.  But there’s really nothing like working with my own raw images and textures and combining them to get the image I really see in the subjects I’m photographing…

Thanks again to everyone that participated this week!  Don’t forget – there’s only two more weeks of POTW that you can participate in.  After that, I’ll no longer be accepting submissions though I will keep sharing my own photo each week.

See you next time!
